You don’t need authority to make it happen.

All you need is to use leadership techniques.


Yet, there are occasions when leaders need to use authority:

2️⃣ Setting Organisational Direction: when enforcing the strategic direction by establishing the vision, mission, and goals of the organisation.

3️⃣ Enforcing Standards: to maintain the safety, compliance, ethics, and behaviour within the organisation.

4️⃣ Resolving Conflicts: when emotions are running high within the team.

5️⃣ Driving Change: when implementing significant changes such as hiring, restructuring, making tough calls.


💡 You don’t need authority to lead people around you … you don’t even need to hold a leadership position!
